Incorrect rods were found assembled on a few Reman 3500 HD cylinder packs. These packs were built with 0R-9200 Connecting Rods (Standard Displacement Rods). If installed, these incorrectly assembled packs could result in white smoke and poor engine operation, and would require immediate replacement.Solution

20R-5616 Cylinder Pack AsInspect for the presence of a wrist pin oil passage at the cap end of the rod, refer to Illustration 1. If no passage is present, submit a Parts Technical ticket in the PSCRM system and include pictures of the packaging label and part number etched on the rod cap.
