Rework Procedure
After Failure Procedure for the 160-1823 Fuel Sender Replacement
1. Drain the fuel tank.
On machines that are equipped with a ripper, disconnect the wire harness and all the hoses on the ripper diverter valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly Manual SENR8331 as required.

2. Disconnect the supply and return fuel lines located underneath the tank.
Disconnect the fuel tank harness from the cab harness. Refer to Image 1.2.1

3. Remove the 4 tank bolts and slide the tank backward in order to allow access to the fuel tank sender.

4. Replace the existing 160-1823 Fuel Sender with a new 394-0432 Fuel Sender As. Use a new 6C3060 Gasket when replacing the fuel sender assembly.
5. Reinstall the fuel tank and reconnect all harnesses and hoses.
