Introduction
Note: This procedure requires operation of the tractor controls. Refer to the machine Operation and Maintenance Manual for the tractor to which the screed is attached.The main screed plate must be horizontal when the tow points are set to the zero position. Under these conditions, the screed is in the null position. Perform this procedure to null the screed.Check Preparation
Drive the machine to a smooth, horizontal surface.
Fully extend the extenders. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual of the tractor for this procedure.
Place the screed in float, and lower the screed to the ground. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual of the tractor for this procedure.
Raise the hoppers, and install the hopper locks. Refer to the Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual of the tractor for this procedure.
Lower the tow points to the lowest position. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual of the tractor for this procedure.
Stop the engine. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual of the tractor for this procedure.

Make sure that the extender plate is not touching the ground. Use height levers (1) as necessary to lift the extender. Repeat this step for the extender on the opposite
