Disconnect left brake hose assembly (21). Use Tools (C4) and (C6) to cap the port, and use Tool (C1) to plug the hose assembly.
Disconnect right brake hose assembly (20). Use Tools (C4) and (C6) to cap the port, and use Tool (C1) to plug the hose assembly.

Remove four bolts (22) and remove hopper door (23).

Install a small piece of reflective tape on pulley (24). Test Procedure for the Right Propulsion Pump Main Relief Valve
Move engine start switch (7) to the start position. Release the switch when the engine starts.
Monitor the hydraulic oil temperature with Tool (F). Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches 40° +10/-5°C (104° +18/-9°F).
Use Tool (C) to monitor engine speed. Use throttle control lever (4) in order to set the engine speed to 2000 rpm.

Examine the indicators in the center of the instrument panel. Electrical controls disabled indicator (25) should be illuminated.

Depress electrical controls enable switch (26).

Examine the indicators in the center of the instrument panel. Electrical controls disabled indicator (25) should no longer be illuminated. Electrical controls enabled indicator (27) should be illuminated. Note: If electrical controls enabled indicator (27) is not illuminated, make sure all the control switches are in the correct positions necessary to enable the electrical controls. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, for further information.
Move parking brake lever (3) to the OFF position.

Move shift switch (28) into the SECOND-SPEED position.
Move travel direction switch (1) to the FORWARD position. Note: The machine may move in the next step. Make sure that the area around the machine is clear of personnel and obstructions. If the machine moves, immediately move the travel direction switch (1) back to the NEUTRAL position, and troubleshoot the parking brake.
Slowly rotate propulsion speed dial (2) clockwise. Allow the pressure at port "MB" to stabilize. Record the pressure at port "MB" as "forward pressure". Forward pressure should be 29000 1000 kPa (4206 145 psi).
Rotate propulsion speed dial (2) counterclockwise to the MINIMUM position.
Hold travel direction switch (1) in the REVERSE position. Note: The machine may move in the next step. Make sure that the area around the machine is clear of personnel and obstructions. If the machine moves, immediately move the travel direction switch (1) back to the NEUTRAL position, and troubleshoot the parking brake.
Slowly rotate propulsion speed dial (2) clockwise. Allow the pressure at port "MA" to stabilize. Record the pressure at port "MA" as "reverse pressure". Reverse pressure should be 29000 1000 kPa (4206 145 psi).
Release travel direction switch (1). The switch will return to the NEUTRAL position.
Rotate propulsion speed dial (1) counterclockwise to the MINIMUM position.
Move parking brake (3) lever to the ON position.
Move throttle control lever (4) to the LOW-IDLE position. Allow the machine to operate at low idle for several minutes.
Move engine start switch (7) to the OFF position.
