Information:
Removing the Auger from the Mini Hydraulic Excavator
Remove the auger bit. Refer to Owner's Manual, "Auger Bit - Remove and Install".
Place the work tool flat on the ground with the drive shaft away from the host machine.
Place the direction control in NEUTRAL. Engage the parking brake.
Turn the engine start switch key to the OFF position in order to stop the engine.
Ensure that there is no trapped pressure within auxiliary hydraulic lines. Follow the procedure in the Operation and Maintenance Manual of the host machine to relieve any pressure within the auxiliary hydraulic lines.
Exit the machine.
Disconnect the auxiliary hydraulic lines from the host machine.
Connect the male quick connect coupler and the female quick connect coupler on the hoses together. Move the hydraulic lines for the work tool away from the mounting bracket.
Remove the over center pins.
Remove the pivot pins.
Remove the auger drive from the linkage of the host machine.Installing the Auger on the Backhoe Loader
Position the work tool on a level surface. Move the hydraulic lines for the work tool away from the mounting bracket.

Align the mounting bracket for the work tool with the machine linkage.
Install the pivot pins (2).
Install the cotter pins (1).
Ensure that the quick-connects are free from dirt. Failure to keep the quick-connects clean could result in damage to hydraulic system components.
Connect the hydraulic lines to the host machine. Twist the collars of the quick connect couplers for one quarter of a turn in order to secure the hydraulic connections.
Install the auger bit onto the auger drive. Refer to Owner's Manual, "Auger Bit - Remove and Install".
Test the work tool for leaks and for proper operation.Removing the Auger from the Backhoe Loader

Block up the auger drive so that the auger drive is horizontal to the ground.

Use a suitable lifting device to support the auger bit. Align the hole on auger bit (2) with the hole on the shaft of auger drive (1). Install the auger bit onto the auger drive.

Install bolt (3) and nuts (4). Tighten both nuts to a torque of 230 30 N m (170 20 lb ft).Removing the Auger Bit
Block up the auger drive so that

Place the work tool flat on the ground with the drive shaft away from the host machine.
