Right Side of Front Frame (1) Lift linkage position sensor. (2) Lever.
Remove the covers from the sensor. Disconnect the sensor connector from the harness connector.
The position sensor can be damaged if too much force is applied against the internal stops of the sensor. Be careful when removing the position sensor lever or rotating the shaft attached to the sensor.
Remove the spring from lever (2). Loosen the bolt on the lever and remove the lever.
Remove sensor (1) from the frame.
Remove the lift linkage position sensor from the housing.

Sensor Housing (3) Tang end.
Install the sensor on the housing. Tang end (3) on the shaft must line up with the slot in the sensor.
Install the sensor on the frame. Connect the sensor connector to the harness connector.
The position sensor can be damaged if too much force is applied against the internal stops of the sensor. Be careful when removing the position sensor lever or rotating the shaft attached to the sensor.
Position the lever on the shaft. The roller must be against the center of the edge of the cam.
Install the spring.
Use a screwdriver in order to turn the shaft clockwise to the end of travel. Turn the shaft counterclockwise by one-eighth of a turn.
Tighten the bolt on the lever in order to prevent the lever from rotating on the shaft.
Set the lift linkage position sensor.Reference: For the correct procedure in order to set the lift linkage position sensor, refer to Testing and Adjusting, SENR1367, "992G Wheel Loader Hydraulic System", "Postition Sensor (Lift Linkage) - Set".
The lift linkage position sensor must be calibrated before the machine is returned to use.Reference: For the correct procedure in order to calibrate the lift linkage position sensor, refer to Testing and Adjusting, SENR1367, "992G Wheel Loader Hydraulic System", "Lift Linkage Postition Sensor - Calibrate".
