Refer to the information in the following article.ReferenceSpecial Instruction, REHS2368, "Installation Procedure for Product Link PL522/523 (Cellular)"New Software is now available for all Cat® products with the Product Link 522 system. The new software contains the following improvement for the 351-8490 Electronic Control Module (PL522) system:
This update addresses erroneous fuel loss alerts by eliminating the large delta between fuel level data sent by Product Link during a Key OFF and Key ON event. Now Product Link sends a more accurate fuel level value during a Key ON and Key OFF event.Note: It is important that both the radio and the gateway software are flashed. Submit a field support case to have the Radio flashed over the air after the Gateway software has been downloaded and installed.The new software part number is listed in Table 1.
