Adding An Office User
Users are people who use the office software. Users must be added prior to user login and use of the office software. Users should not be confused with operators. Operators are people who run the machines on the mine site.Perform the following procedure to add an office user:
Click "Tasks", "Users", and "New Office User".
Enter the user details.
Enter the username. This entry is the logon ID of the user. The ID is alphanumeric with a maximum length of 20 characters.
Enter a password.
Enter the full name of the user. This entry is the actual name of the person. The name entry is alphanumeric with a maximum of 50 characters.
Enter an email address for the user.
Select the role for the user, either builder or controller. The builder is the person responsible for the installation, configuration, and customization of the office software. The controller is the person in the office using the office software.
Click "Save".Editing an Office User
Perform the following procedure to edit an office user:
Click "Tasks", "Users", and "Manage Office Users".
In the search field, type the name of the user for changing.
Double-click the user and make the required changes.
Click "Save".The "Manage Office Users" screen also allows the following actions:
Show/hide archived users
Archive and restore users
Add a new userArchiving And Restoring Office Users
Archiving Office Users
Perform the following procedure to archive an office user:
Click "Tasks", "Users", and "Manage Office Users".
Select the user for archiving, and click the archive/restore office user icon.The user disappears from the view. Archived users are shown in gray text on the list. If archived users are not displayed, click the show/hide archived items icon.Restoring Office Users
Perform the following procedure to restore an office user:
Click "Tasks", "Users", and "Manage Office Users".
Click the show/hide archived items icon.The icon becomes gold in color. Archived operators are shown in the list in gray text.
Find the user to restore, then click the archive/restore user icon. The user is displayed in the list in black text.Showing Archived Office Users
Archived users can be shown in the office user list by clicking the show/hide archived items icon. This list now displays both active and inactive (archived) users. Archived users are displayed in gray text. The user can select any of these users, and continue with assigned task.Finding an Office User

Click in the search field and start typing the name of the user. The list changes dynamically as the user types.
Locate the user that is being looked for and continue with the assigned task.
