PROBLEM
The existing link bearing seals may have been damaged during assembly on certain 793F and 793F CMD Off-Highway Trucks. If the bearing seals were damaged, the bearings could have reduced service life.

ACTION REQUIRED
Visually inspect each of the 299-3203 Bearings within the 281-3338 Link Assemblies. Verify that the bearing seals are in place and not torn or damaged. If any bearing is detected with damaged seals, replace that bearing. There are 2 bearings per link, but only a damaged bearing should be replaced.
