The kit utilizes a Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) to obtain the data of the location for yield mapping. The yield data is received from sensors that are used by the existing quantimeter kit. Yield mapping data is stored by using the existing PC card reader. Two PC cards are included with the kit.
Before the yield mapping kit can be used, three forms must be processed. The three forms are the "Racal - DGPS - activation" form, "CEBIS activation" form, and the "AGRO-MAP Basic Module activation" form. The forms are included in the instruction.
Special Instruction, REHS0529, "Installation of a Yield Mapping Kit" is available through the normal distribution system.
