A new 443-8147 Fan Adapter (1) replaces the former 266-6800 Fan Adapter in the 178-7998 Fan and Motor Gp .Before installing fan adapter (1) to the gear motor, thoroughly clean and degrease the fan gear motor shaft taper, threads, and the fan adapter bore. Apply red Loctite 263 to shaft threads before installing nut (2) and washer (3). Tighten nut (2) to 460 60 N m (339 44 lb ft).The new 443-8147 Fan Adapter is adaptable to machines B9K1-UP, B931-162 and effective in production with machines B93163-UP.
