Blade Hydraulic System
A blade cylinder is used to Raise and Lower the blade. When the blade cylinder rod EXTENDS, the blade will LOWER. When the blade cylinder RETRACTS, the blade will RAISE.When the operator uses the blade control lever, and input signal is sent to the Machine Electronic Control Module (ECM). The ECM determines the direction of the blade cylinder in proportion to the movement of the lever. The ECM sends an output signal to the blade solenoids. Pilot pressure in the main control valve is now allowed to flow through the blade cylinder solenoids. Pilot oil pressure is used by the solenoids to control the movement of the blade control valve in the main control valve. The blade control valve spool, in turn, controls the flow of the high-pressure oil to the blade cylinder.Components of the blade system include:
