Open the hood assembly.

Remove shield assembly (1) .

Disconnect harness assembly (2) and remove hose (3) .

Disconnect hose (4) and remove clip (5) .

Disconnect hose (6) and remove clip (7) .

Disconnect sensor (8) and remove clip (9) .

Remove clip (10) .

Remove clamp (11) and (12) .

Disconnect harness assembly (13), harness assembly (14), hose assembly (16) and remove clip (15) and (17) .

Remove ball clamp (18) .Note: The ball clamp orientation must be marked prior to removal for installation purposes.
Discard ball clamp (18) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to clean emissions module (19). The weight of the clean emissions module (19) is approximately 272 kg (600 lb).
Remove bolts (20) and clean emissions module (19) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to support frame assembly (22). Disconnect bolts (21) and remove support frame assembly (22) .Installation Procedure
Install clean emissions module (19) in the reverse order of removal.

Clamp assembly (18) is to be in the center of the joint. Dimensions (X) and (Y) are to be equal within 2.0 mm ( 0.08 inch) at any X-Section around the circumference.
Center new clamp assembly (18) according the marks made in Step 10 of the removal procedure. Reference Illustration 13 for further instruction. Tighten clamp (18) to a torque of 35 2 N m (26 1 lb ft).
