Working under the fender, remove the access panel that is bolted to the front plate of the fender to expose the aperture behind the panel. The front left-hand tire and rim will need to be removed.
Using the upper edge of the aperture, and the center of the middle upper retaining bolt-hole for the access panel, as reference points, drill 2 x 10mm clearance holes through the front plate of the fender. Refer to the dimensions in the illustration below.

Remove the filler cap from the hoist and brake systems hydraulic tank to relieve any pressure that may be in the tank. Refit the filler cap. Fit the 3D2824 Seal and the remaining 6V9746 Seal to the 8C8400 Elbow then install the elbow into the port on the rear of the hoist valve that the plug was removed from. Do not tighten the swivel nut at this time.

Install the 358-2138 Hose As between the 8C8400 Elbow on the hoist or ejector control valve and the 6V9877 Elbow on the 231-8982 Accumulator. Ensure the hose is routed so that it will not be damaged during machine operation. Secure the hose to existing hoses using the 6U0456 Lashings. When the hose has been installed satisfactorily, tighten the swivel nuts on the 8C8400 and 6V9877 Elbows.
