Stopping the engine immediately after it has been working under load can result in overheating and accelerated wear of the engine components.Refer to the following stopping procedure, to allow the engine to cool, and to prevent excessive temperatures in the turbocharger center housing, (if equipped) which could cause oil coking problems.
Stop the machine and run the engine at low idle for five minutes.
Never turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position while the engine is running. Serious damage to the electrical system may result.

Turn the engine start switch to the OFF position and remove the engine start switch key.Stop the Engine if an Electrical Malfunction Occurs
Turn the engine start switch to the OFF position. If the engine does not stop, perform the following procedure.
Unlatch the engine hood and raise the engine hood.

Push the end of the fuel shutoff valve inward in order to stop the engine.
Close the engine hood and latch the engine hood.Note: Do not operate the machine again until the malfunction has been corrected.
