Remove the pulley nut, the washer, the pulley, and the fan.

Remove 4 screws (1). Remove plate (2) .

Remove 2 insulated screws (3). Remove 2 leads (4) .

Remove screw (8). Remove nut (6). Remove leads (5). Remove strap (7).

Remove terminal (11) .
Remove 3 nuts (13). Remove 3 leads (14) .
Remove strap (12). Remove diode trio (15) .

Remove screw (18). Remove nut (16) and slide terminal strap (17) out of the housing.

Remove 4 bolts (21). Carefully separate housing (22) from housing (20) .

Pull apart stator (23) and housing (20). Guide the stator leads through the hole as the stator is removed from housing (20) .

Remove 4 screws (25). Remove the coil and support (24) from housing (20). Guide the field leads through the hole as the coil is removed from the housing. Pry cap (26) from housing (20). This will expose the bearing for the rotor.Note: Do not strike the bearing. Shocks from striking the housing can cause damage.
Wipe the excess grease from the bearing well. Press the bearing into the housing. Remove the inner race.
