This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI1242" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI1242" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
Problem
The left-hand engine compartment top cover prop rod could drop on the engine governor control affecting engine speed control on certain AP-1000 Asphalt Pavers.

Parts Stock
Remove all 7R9612 Prop Rods from Parts Stock.

Refer to pages 163 and 167 of the AP-1000 Parts Manual, KEBP0084-01, for Illustrations for this rework.
1. Open the left-hand engine compartment top cover.2. Remove the 3B4618 Cotter retaining the 7R9612 Prop Rod and 8T4896 Washer.3. Remove the prop rod and washer.4. Install the new, longer 1107750 Prop Rod and the 8T4896 Washer removed in Step 3.5. Retain with a new 3B4618 Cotter.6. Close engine top cover.Owner Notification
