When submitting claim for Parts Stock Action, Use the appropriate 99Z as the s/n, the appropriate Service Letter Program Number as the Part number in the Part Causing Failure field, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Description Code.
The information supplied in this service letter may not be valid after the termination date of this program.Do not perform the work outlined in this Service Letter after the termination date without first contacting your Caterpillar product analyst.

Certain position sensors may exhibit intermittent operation.
ACTION REQUIRED
Inspect the following position sensors in dealer parts stock:

266-1478
266-1479
266-1480
266-1481
266-1482
266-1483
Refer to the Image1 for the location of the change level on the position sensor.
The parts that are marked with change 00, 01, and 02, remove the part from dealer parts stock.
The parts that are marked with change 03 and higher change levels, mark the package to indicate the part has been inspected according to this program (PI7####) and return the part to dealer parts stock.
