This Special Instruction provides the needed procedures to install LED Lights to the roof cap on M Series Wheel Loaders. Do not perform any procedure or order any parts until you have read and understand the continents of this publication.Safety Section

Prepare the Machine
Move the machine to a smooth level area.
Stop the machine, turn key to OFF position, and engage parking brake.
Perform Lock out/ Tag out procedure on operator controls. Required Parts

Disconnect the wiring harness from the receptacle on the rear of the lamp housing.
Remove the retaining nut and washer from where the lamp is secured to the roof cap and remove old lamp assembly.
Discard the old lamp assembly and hardware.
Repeat Steps 1 through 3 to remove the remaining three lamps. Reworking the Roof Cap

(1) Relocate hole 25 mm (1.0 inch) in front of old mounting hole.
Drill two additional 11 mm (0.4 inch) diameter holes (1) 25 mm (1.0 inch) in front of the old mounting holes on front roof cap. See Illustration 2 Installing the New Flood Lamps

(1) 461-7569 Flood Lamp Gp
Install 461-7569 Flood Lamp Gp (1) into the new hole in the front roof cap ahead of where old lamp was removed. Secure using the supplied washer and nut from Lamp group (1).
Plug the old wiring harness into the receptacle in the back of the new lamp (1).

(2) 426-5380 Flood Lamp Gp
Install 426-5380 Flood Lamp Gp (2) into the hole the old light was removed from in the rear of the roof cap. Secure using the supplied washer and nut from Lamp group (2).
Plug the old wiring harness into the receptacle in the back of the new lamp (2).
