Drum support bearings
Lubricate fittings
1. The grease fitting for the drum support bearing is located on top of the vibratory hub on the left side of the drum. One fitting which receives 12 shots of grease.Hydraulic oil filter
Check for restriction.
1. Start the engine and idle until the hydraulic oil is warm. 2. Observe the indicator located on top of the hydraulic filter head. If the indicator is red or has popped up red, the hydraulic filter is restricted and should be replaced.Front Gear Reducer (Horizontal Position) S/N 7AD312 & 7BD147
Check Lube Level
1. Remove plug (1) from end of gear reducer.2. Gear lube should be at this level. If low, add gear lube as required.3. Install the plug (1). There must be an end plug (1) in the end of the gear reducer if the gear reducer is to be used in the horizontal position. Check Lube Level
1. Remove plug (1) in the elbow at the end of the gear reducer.2. Gear lube should be at this level. If low, remove fill plug (2) and add gear lube until gear lube reaches level of check plug (1).3. Install plugs (1) and (2).Front Gear Reducer (Angle Position Without Breather)
Check Lube Level
1. There are two plugs in the end of the gear reducer. Remove plug (1).2. Gear lube should be at this level. If low, add gear lube as required.3. Install the plug (1).Front Gear Reducer Without End Plug (Angle Position With Breather)
Check Lube Level
1. Remove plug (1) from side of brake housing.2. Gear lube should be at this level. If low, remove fill plug (2) and add gear lube until gear lube reaches level of check plug (1).3. Install plugs (1) and (2).Battery
Check electrolyte level
1. Check level by removing battery fill caps and observing electrolyte level.2. Electrolyte level should reach the bottom of the fill opening. If level is low, add distilled water to raise electrolyte level.3. Install battery fill caps.Double Pump Drive Assembly
Check lube level
1. Open petcock (1) on the lower left side of the double pump driven box.2. Gear lube should be at this level. If low, remove fill plug (2) on top, left side of the double pump drive box and add gear lube until gear lube appears at petcock (1). Add gear lube slowly due to time required for oil to seek level condition. Overfilling will cause oil to come out of vent.3. Tighten petcock (1) and install fill plug (2).Rear Gear Reducer S/N 7AD1-154 & 160- S/N 7BD1-48 & 54-
Check lube level.
1. Remove fill/check plug located on front side of the gear reducer case.2. Gear lube should be at this level. If low,
