7. Install washer (7), lockwasher (8) and bolt (9) to secure the pivot pins (6) on both sides of the truck. 8. Install grease cap (10) using shims retained in removal procedure. Fully tighten all bolts. 9. Install the steering cylinder rod pivot pins (11) using new 'O' ring seals under the rod eye seal faces. Install washers (12), lockwashers (13) and bolts (14) to secure the pivot pins. 10. Connect the remote grease lines (15) to the suspension pivot pin grease caps (10) and suspension cylinder rod pivot pins (6). 11. Install rod (16) on the right hand grease cap (17). 12. Connect the brake line (18) to the brake assembly (19). On trucks fitted with spring brakes it will be necessary to connect the air lines at the axle housing.13. Install the sump guard (20). 14. Install the front wheels.15. Remove the stands supporting the truck.16. Install the centre drive shaft (21). Make sure the yokes at both ends of the drive shaft are in alignment. 17. Install the differential lock actuator on the frame. Fully tighten bolts (22). Position the actuator shaft (23) on the differential selector shaft. Install clevis pin (24) and secure with cotter pin (25). 18. End by: a) Service the torque converter screen.b) Fill the transmission with oil.c) Fill the brake fluid reservoir and bleed the brakes.Torque Converter Screen
The torque converter screen should be removed and cleaned if the transmission, torque converter or output transfer drive are disassembled for any reason.
Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin. Hot oil and components can cause personal injury. Use all cleaning solutions with care.
1. Loosen the bolts holding the cover (1). Allow the oil to drain into a suitable container.2. Remove the cover. 3. Remove the screen (2) from the housing. Wash in clean non-flammable solvent. Check the condition of the screen and replace if damaged.4. Inspect the gasket (3) and replace if damaged.5. Install the screen in the housing.6. Transmission control linkage adjustment should be made only with the engine OFF. Accidental transmission engagement and sudden truck movement could result in personal injury.

The direction lever should be in the NEUTRAL position.2. Remove bolts (2) and lockwashers.3. Loosen nut (7), move seal (5) and washer (8), and unscrew bracket (1) until all are off the threads of cable assembly (6).4. Lift pin (9) and yoke (3) out of the slot in speed selection spool (11).5. Pull spool (11) out of the case until its movement is stopped.6. Hold the spool (11) and install pin (9) in the slot in the spool. If the pin cannot be installed without movement of the spool, make an adjustment to yoke (3). Tighten nut (4).7. Install bracket (1) on the threads of cable assembly (6) and turn the bracket until it is
