(1) Preliminary test 1. Install the pump on the test bench. Hydraulic oil: ISO VG32 at 50 3°C2. Slowly begin to rotate the pump. 1) Low speed running 720 ~ 800 r.p.m. 3 min.2) No load running 2217 r.p.m. 5 min.Remarks: Stop rotation and inspect the pump if any of following symptoms occur.a. Aeration in case drainb. Intermittent flow of case drainc. Abnormal surge of case draind. Excessive copper particles in case draine. Unusual knocking noise(2) Individual horse power control test Operate the pump under the test conditions shown below.1. Input power for the pump Speed 2217 r.p.m.Torque 26.9 kgf-m >2. P-Q characteristics 1) P-Q characteristic curve 2) Measuring points (3) Horse power summation test Provide the test bench with small pump capable of generating the pilot pressure 66 kgf/cm2.Connect the pilot pressure hose to the port E of the pump tested.1. Input power for the pump 2217 r.p.m., 20.0 kgf-m >2. P-Q characteristics 1) P-Q characteristic curve2) Measuring points Remarks for Tests 2, 3.1. On setting the quantity of discharge flow at each measuring point during the test, the input torque should be observed carefully not to exceed 26.9 kgf-m at test 2, and 20.0 kgf-m at test 3 respectively.2. Measure each quantity of flow in course of pressure rising.3. Flow difference between 2 main pumps must be 4.
