Three new camshaft drive gear assemblies are now available for the 3406E and the 3456 machines engines in the above machines. The new camshaft drive gear assemblies are improved with 8 self-locking 9X-8872 Bolts (1) on each side of the assembly. The previous assemblies only had 4 on each side. The additional bolts increase torque retention for the camshaft drive gear assembly and the additional bolts also extend component life.Adaptable To: The former 155-6628 Camshaft Gear Group is cancelled and replaced by the new 208-4577 Camshaft Gear Group. The new camshaft gear is now available in the 102-8397 Front Gear Group. The new camshaft gear is effective with the 3406E (S/N: 9AP1615-UP) Engines.The former 136-9419 Camshaft Gear Group is cancelled and replaced by the new 204-2114 Camshaft Gear Group. The new camshaft gear is now available in the 137-5921 Front Gear Group and the 165-8107 Front Gear Group. The new camshaft gear is effective with the 3406E (S/N: 9AP1515-UP; BET1325-UP) Engines. The new camshaft gear is also effective with the 3456 (S/N: 7RC1058-UP; BLC206-UP; BNT433-UP) Engines.The former 136-8884 Camshaft Gear Group is replaced by the new 204-9316 Camshaft Gear Group. The new camshaft gear is now available in the following Front Gear Groups: 198-7701, 124-6818, 207-0449 and 208-9490. The new camshaft gear is effective with the 3406E (S/N: BET1177-UP; BKN342-UP) Engines. The new camshaft gear is also effective with the 3456 (S/N: BNT429-UP) Engines.
