Move the accelerator control to the LOW IDLE position. Engage the parking brake.Lower all attachments to the ground.Stop the engine.Turn the engine start switch key to the ON position. Move the hydraulic control levers back and forth in order to relieve hydraulic pressure. Turn the engine start switch key to OFF position and remove the key.Turn the key for the battery disconnect switch (if equipped) to the OFF position. Remove the key when you leave the machine for an extended period of time.When you turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position, you can avoid battery discharge due to the following causes:
