1. Check the seal in the valve cover for wear or damage. If necessary, make a replacement Put valve cover (1) in position on the valve cover base. 3. Install the bolts that hold the valve cover. tighten the bolts in number sequence to a torque of 24 7 N m (18 5 lb ft).4. Put oil filler tube assembly in position on the valve cover. Install the clamp on the tube and cover. connect clip to the bracket.5. Put the hoods in the "CLOSED" position.
