Disconnect two fuel lines (1) from fuel transfer pump (2). Plug all openings immediately.
Remove four bolts (3) that mount fuel transfer pump (2) to the cylinder block.
Remove two lock plates (4) .
Remove fuel transfer pump (2) and the gasket.Note: If the fuel transfer pump is difficult to remove, rotate the crankshaft until the rocker arm of the fuel transfer pump is not under pressure.
