Sudden movement of the machine or release of oil under pressure can cause serious injury to persons on or near the machine. To prevent possible injury, perform the procedure that follows before testing and adjusting the hydraulic system.
Perform the following procedure before you perform the test procedure that follows:
Park the machine on a level area that is clear from all equipment and material.
Verify that the service brake system and the parking brake system are in good working order.
Block the drive wheels in both directions.
Apply the parking brake.
Ensure that the propel lever is in the NEUTRAL position. Ensure that the parking brake is in the ON position.

(1) Vibratory pump (2) Supply line to the vibratory motors
Disconnect supply line (2) from gear pump (1). The supply line provides hydraulic flow to the vibratory motors.Note: The cap and the plug are used in order to reduce leakage during this test. If the flow meter is readily available, these additional parts may not be needed for the test.
Use 6V-9512 Face Seal Plug (C1) and 6V-9832 Cap As (D1) in order to cap vibratory pump (1) and plug the supply line (2) temporarily.
