Attach two suitable lifting devices in order to install gimbal (5) into the machine, as shown. The weight of gimbal (5) is approximately 115 kg (254 lb).
Install bearings (26) and washers (25) onto both sides of ejector cylinder (4).
Attach a suitable lifting device onto ejector cylinder (4). Position gimbal (5) onto the trunnions on ejector cylinder (4). The combined weight of ejector cylinder (4) and gimbal (5) is approximately 478 kg (1054 lb).
Install bearing caps (24) and bolts (15) onto gimbal (5) and ejector cylinder (4).

Use Tooling (C) and a suitable press in order to install bearing (14) into plate (7). Repeat the procedure for plate (10).

Install cover (13) onto plate (7). Install bolts (12). Repeat the procedure for plate (10).

Install plate (7) onto the top of gimbal (5).

Install mounts (22) and sleeve (23) into gimbal (5). Repeat the procedure on the opposite side of gimbal (5).

Use a suitable lifting device in order to raise ejector cylinder (4) off Tooling (A). Remove Tooling (A) from the machine. Slowly extend ejector cylinder (4) toward the ejector blade.

Position gimbal (5) onto the ejector blade. Install bolt (18) and washer (19).

Install plate (10) onto the bottom of gimbal (5). Position shim (11) between plate (10) and the ejector blade before installing bolts (9).
Position shim (8) between plate (7) and the ejector blade before installing bolts (6).

Remove bolt (18) and washer (19). Position spacer (20) and spacers (21) onto the back of mount (22). Install bolt (18) and washer (19).

Tighten bolts (15). Install cover (17) onto gimbal (5) and install bolts (16). Repeat the procedure on the opposite side of gimbal (5).

Connect hose assemblies (3).

Turn bolts (1) on both sides of the ejector blade equally in order to lower ejector rollers (3) onto the truck body. Continue turning bolts (1) until bolts (1) are clear of the surface of the truck body. Use a feeler gauge in order to verify that ejector rollers (3) are in contact with the truck body. Tighten nut (2).
Ensure that the truck body is clear of any tools and foreign material before turning on the disconnect switch to the ON and starting the engine. Retract the ejector blade. Stop the engine and turn the disconnect switch to the OFF position.
Lubricate the pivot bearings. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Ejector Cylinder Pivot - Lubricate".
Remove the steering frame locks. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Steering Frame Lock".
