AXLE GP 7X5281 - Caterpillar

Location of components in 2T2481 Floor Group.1. Place the scraper bowl on blocks to relieve the pressure on floor rollers (4). Perform Steps 2 through 6 on ONLY ONE plate (1) at a time.2. Remove two 1A8063 Bolts (2) and two 5P8248 Washers (3) from plate (1).3. Use a grinder to remove any paint and debris from the contact area where plate (1) contacts 7J5095 Shims (5).4. Remove paint and debris from both sides of shims (5).5. Remove paint and debris from the area where shims (5) contact 2T2480 Floor Assembly (6).6. Install plate (1) and shims (5) on the floor assembly using new bolts (2) and washers (3). Tighten the bolts to 150 lb ft.7. Repeat Steps 2 through 6 (ONE PLATE AT A TIME) for each plate (1).
