Procedure To Replace The Diaphragm In Brakesaver Control Valve
1. Install the 5B5620 Bolt into the FT1895 Plug as shown in Illustration 1.
Illustration 1. Bolt installed in plug.2. Remove the plug marked "TO CLR" from the bottom of the control valve (see Illustration 2) and install the plug and bolt.
Illustration 2. Remove plug from valve.3. Tighten the FT1895 Plug firmly into the control valve.4. Tighten the 5B5620 Bolt finger tight against the valve spool.5. Replace the diaphragm.6. Remove the FT1895 Plug and bolt and replace the "TO CLR" plug removed in Step 2.Dealers in the U.S.A. and Caterpillar Americas can order drawings of Fabricated Tools (FT) from the address that follows.
