Turn the keyswitch to the Off position. Open the disconnect switch.
Disconnect the two machine harness wires that are connected to the existing horn.
Remove the ring terminals from the two machine harness wires that were just disconnected from the horn.
Crimp a 186-3736 Connector Socket to each of the two machine harness wires.
Insert the two Connector Sockets (that are crimped to the two machine harness wires) into the 155-2270 Connecting Plug Kit. For instructions on inserting the 186-3736 Connector Sockets into the 155-2270 Connecting Plug Kit, refer to Special Instruction, SEHS9615, "Servicing DT Connectors". After the sockets have been installed into the connector, tug on the wires in order to ensure a secure connection.
Mate the machine harness with the new horn's integral sealed connector (1, 2). Check for proper operation of the horn.
