Main Screed
Note: Use Testing and Adjusting, KENR3708-00, "Machine Preperation for Troubleshooting" to place the screed in the null position.
Raise the screed and engage the travel lock.
Locate the adjusters on the main screed plate and loosen the jam nuts.

Set the two outermost adjusters to a distance of 8 mm (0.32 inch). Measure the gap between the nut that is welded on the mainframe and the top of the screed plate (A) .

Place a straight edge along the trailing edge of the screed. There must be no screed crown when you adjust the screed.Note: If you use a straight edge that is shorter than the width of the plate, begin measuring and begin adjusting at one end of the screed plate. Then adjust the other end of the plate. After you complete this sequence, check the plate again. Start in the middle to ensure that the adjustments did not affect the other parts of the plate.
Check the flatness of the screed plate by measuring the gap between the screed plate and the straight edge. If the trailing edge is not flat within 0.75 mm (0.030 inch), adjust the trailing edge adjusters until the
