Typical Example 1. Place wooden blocks in front of and behind the other drum assembly.2. Raise the machine and position wooden blocks under both sides of the frame as shown.3. Remove bolts (2) and the plate that hold the propel motor hoses in place on the back side of support (1).4. Use Tool (A) to compress spring (3). Use Tool (B) to remove retaining ring (4). Slowly release the spring compression. When the spring compression has been completely released, remove spring (3), piston (5) and shims (7) from the propel motor. Remove O-ring seal (6) from the piston. Check the O-ring seal for damage or wear, and replace if necessary. Apply 1U-6395 O-Ring Compound on O-ring seal (6) during the assembly procedure.
Typical Example5. Attach a lifting strap and hoist to support (1). Remove bolts (10) and the washers. Remove four bolts (9), the washers, the nuts and shims (8).
Typical Example6. Install two M16 X 2.0 guide bolts to hold brake body (13) in place.7. Remove two bolts (11) and the washers, and remove support (1) from the machine.

Remove O-ring seal (6) from shaft (3). Check the O-ring for wear or damage, and replace if necessary.4. Remove seven bolts (5), and remove cover (4) from cam housing (7). 5. Remove distributor plate (8) and O-ring seal (9) from cover (4). Check the O-ring for wear or damage, and replace if necessary. 6. Remove two pins (10), two O-ring seals (12) and seals (11) from cover (4). Check the O-rings for wear or damage, and replace if necessary. 7. Remove pin (13) from cam housing (7). Remove plug (14) from the cam housing. Remove the O-ring seal from the plug. Check the O-ring for wear or damage, and replace if necessary. Apply 1U-8846 Gasket Maker to pin (13) and plug (14) when installing. 8. Position cam housing (7) as shown. While looking in the plug opening, rotate cylinder block (17) until the beveled spacer (16) is located. Use a seal pick to separate the next spacer and ball (15).
