Information:

Hot oil and components can cause personal injury.Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.
After a major component failure, clean the scavenge screen.
Remove the cover on the transmission guard in order to gain access to the screen.

Remove four bolts (1) that hold the tube assembly to the elbow on the bottom of the transmission.
Remove four bolts (2) that hold the elbow on the transmission.
Remove the screen.
Clean the screen in a clean, nonflammable solvent.
Inspect the O-ring seal. If the seal is damaged, replace the seal.
Install the screen, the elbow and four bolts (2).
Install four bolts (1) that hold the tube assembly to the elbow on the bottom of the transmission.
Install the cover on the transmission guard.
