PROBLEM
The 333-3624 Block, 296-7803 Plate, and 8X-5948 Block need to be inspected and reworked on certain 777G Off-Highway Trucks. The existing 333-3624 Block (A), 296-7803 Plate (B), and 8X-5948 Block (C) may experience fatigue cracking. The 333-3624 Block is used to assemble the 318-1038 Control Valve Gp (tow valve) part of 309-1352 Brake Control Gp. The 296-7803 Plate is used to assemble a series of hydraulic hoses.
The 8X-5948 Block is used to assemble the 347-5483 Plate As. part of 336-0260 Sound Suppression Ar and the 371-8278 Plate As. part of 373-1097 Mud Enclosure Gp.

ACTION REQUIRED
Refer to the Service Manual if/as necessary and see Special Instruction REHS9326 "Procedure to Inspect and Repair the Main Rail Assembly and the Rear Pedestal Assembly on Certain 777G Off-Highway Trucks" for rework procedure. Failure to adhere to rework procedure may result in cracks reoccurring.

1. All affected units are required to remove and reweld the 333-3624 Block (A). PLATE_001 is required if 333-3624 Block can not be reused.
2. All affected units are required to remove and reweld the 296-7803 Plate (B). PLATE_002 is required if 296-7803 Plate can not be reused.
3. All affected units are required to remove the 8X-5948 Block (C). Note: If a crack is discovered in or around the areas of block (A), plate (B), or block (C) please submit a SIMS entry immediately with pictures, or e-mail pictures to obrien_todd.
Please include the serial number and hours of the affected unit.
