Personal injury or death can result from a brake malfunction. Do not operate the machine if the parking brake was engaged due to a malfunction of the hydraulic oil system or the service brakes.Correct any problem before attempting to operate the machine.
Before you operate the machine, and after the parking brake has been serviced, be sure you adjust the parking brake mechanism.Failure to do so could damage the parking brake components or prevent the parking brake from functioning correctly.

Chock the wheels in order to keep the machine from rolling when the parking brake is disengaged.

Steering frame lock in the locked position.
Connect the steering frame lock to the front and rear frames.Adjust Procedure

Loosen locknut (3) down rod (4) to a length of 18 mm (0.75 inch). Turn rod end (4) until the rod moves out enough to disengage the parking brake.
