Description of Change: Several changes have been made to the two available C15 injector harnesses in order to improve durability. There is also a new design of the valve cover base which requires one of the new harnesses that are mentioned. Mounting bosses have been added to the valve cover base. The mounting bosses will keep the individual injector harnesses away from the valve springs for each cylinder. A mounting boss has also been added to the valve cover base in order to move the crossover harness away from the rocker arm assembly. The wiring harness that is used depends on the valve cover base that will be utilized.On the harness that is used with the current valve cover base, the protective braid on the injector harness has been extended.On the harness that utilizes the new valve cover base, white marks on the braided bundle of the wiring harness indicate the mounting locations to the valve cover base.Adaptable To: The 292-0644 Harness As is adaptable to all the serial numbers that utilize the 282-2414 Valve Cover Base and the 304-3313 Valve Cover Base. The new 286-8232 Harness As is adaptable to all the serial numbers that utilize the new 327-4572 Valve Cover Base.
