Raise the temperature of bearing (65) . Install bearing (65) onto stator carrier (56) . Use Tooling (G) in order to install retaining ring (66) . Install seal rings (64) .

Raise the temperature of carrier (61) . Install carrier (61) onto shaft (53) .
Raise the temperature of bearing (63) . Install bearing (63) onto output shaft (53) .
Raise the temperature of carrier (62) . Install carrier (62) onto output shaft (53) .
Apply lubricant that is being sealed onto seal rings (60) . Install seal rings (60) .

Use Tooling (J) and a suitable lifting device in order to position stator carrier (56) onto a suitable stand. The weight of stator carrier (56) is approximately 41 kg (90 lb).

Use Tooling (E) in order to install output shaft assembly (53) into the stator carrier. The weight of output shaft assembly (53) is approximately 41 kg (90 lb).

Install sensor rotor (59) . Install lock washer (57) .
Apply Tooling (H) to the face and the threads of bearing nut (58) . Install bearing nut (58) onto output shaft (53) .
Use Tooling (F) in order to tighten bearing nut (58) . Tighten bearing nut (58) to a torque of 400 50 N m (295 37 lb ft). Align bearing nut (58) with the nearest tang on lockwasher (57) . Bend the tang into bearing nut (58) .

Install distributor (55) and the gasket onto stator carrier (56) .
Install bolts (54) . Tighten bolts (54) to a torque of 50 7 N m (37 5 lb ft).

Note: Replace ring seal (53A) if ring seal (53A) was removed.
Use Tooling (E) and a suitable lifting device in order to turn over shaft assembly (53) . The weight of output shaft assembly (53) , the distributor, and the stator carrier is approximately 68 kg (150 lb).

Install race (50) and install washers (51) . Install bolts (52) . Tighten bolts (52) to a torque of 30 5 N m (22 4 lb ft).

Install gear (49) and install bolts (48) onto the flange. Tighten bolts
