Configure the torque limiting control with Electronic Technician (ET). Refer to Systems Operation, Troubleshooting, Testing, and Adjusting, "Configuration".
Position transmitters (1) and (2) within line of site at a maximum distance apart of 50 m (164 ft). Engine torque can alternate between the two engine torque modes when transmitters (1) and (2) are too far apart, or not within line of site.The signal range of the transmitters can be affected by the following:
Climatic conditions.
Proximity of buildings or terrain.
Condition of the batteries in the transmitters.

(3) Torque limiting control indicator
Turn the battery disconnect switch and the key start switch to the ON position. Torque limiting control indicator (3) will be on for 3 seconds during power up self test.
Check the status of torque limiting control indicator (3). Torque limiting control indicator (3) will be on if the engine is in the reduced engine torque mode. Torque limiting control indicator (3) will be turned off when the machine is in the standard engine torque mode.
When the machine is in the standard engine torque mode, drive towards transmitter (1). As the machine comes into range of transmitter (1), torque limiting control indicator (3) will turn on. The engine will change from standard engine torque mode to reduced engine torque mode. Torque limiting control indicator (3) will remain on while the engine is in the reduced engine torque mode.
When the engine is in the reduced engine torque mode, drive away from transmitter (1). As the machine moves out of range of transmitter (1), torque limiting control indicator (3) will flash for 3 seconds. When torque limiting control indicator (3) stops flashing, the engine will resume the standard engine torque mode. Torque limiting control indicator (3) will be turned off while the torque limiting control maintains the standard engine torque mode.
