Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the gear pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Gear Pump (Transmission) - Remove" for the machine that is being serviced.Note: Cleanliness is a important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. this will prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Remove gasket (4) from pump (2) .
Remove locknut (1) and the washer.
Remove gear (3) from pump (2) .

Turn pump (2) to the opposite side. Remove four bolts (5) and the washers from cover (6) .
Remove cover (6) from pump (2) .

Remove seal (8) from housing (7) .
Remove seals (9) and (10) from housing (7) .
Remove housing (7) from cover (11) .

Turn housing (7) to the opposite side. Remove shaft (12) from housing (7) .
Remove seal (13) from housing (7) .
Remove two bearings (14) from housing (7) .

Remove seals (15) and (16) from bearings (14) .

Remove gears (17) and (18) from cover (11) .

Turn cover (11) to the opposite side. Remove seal ring (19) from cover (11) .
