Install O-ring seal (32) onto valve (31).

Install valve (31). Tighten valve (31) to a torque of 200 10 N m (148 7 lb ft). Install plug (30) and the O-ring seal.

Install spring (29) and guide (28). Install O-ring seal (27) onto valve (22). Install adjustment screw (25) to the length determined in the disassembly. Install seal nut (26). Tighten seal nut (26) to a torque of 30 3 N m (266 27 lb in). Install valve (22). Tighten valve (22) to a torque of 70 7 N m (52 5 lb ft). Install plug (24) and the O-ring seal. Tighten plug (24) to a torque of 15 1.5 N m (133 13 lb in). Install plug (23) and the O-ring seal. Install plug (21) and the O-ring seal. Install plug (20) and the O-ring seal. Install bushing (19).

Install control plate (18) and O-ring seals (17) onto head assembly (16).

Use Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to position head assembly (16) onto the housing. Install bolts (15). Tighten bolts (15) to a torque of 310 31 N m (229 23 lb ft).

Install retaining ring (14) and key (13) onto coupler (12).

Install coupler (15) and O-ring seal (11).

Install plugs (10). Install gears (9) in the orientation from the disassembly procedure. Install O-ring seal (8).

Install plate (7) onto charge pump assembly (6).

Install charge pump assembly (6) and bolts (5). Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 130 N m (96 lb ft).

Remove the piston pump from Tooling (A) or a suitable fixture.End By:
