Completing the Installation
Note: The 142-8633 Rocker Switch (8) and the 113-8491 Fuse (9) are required in order to provide power to the auxiliary electrical control circuit. You must install the switch and the fuse if these parts are not already installed on your machine as part of the installation of the work tool wiring group. The installation instructions for rocker switch (8) and fuse (9) are provided below.
Install the 142-8633 Rocker Switch (8) .

On the left hand control panel, remove the plug from the empty position that is indicated in Illustration 10.

Install the 142-8633 Rocker Switch (8) by inserting the rocker switch into the connector that is provided inside the control panel. See Illustration 11.
Install the 113-8491 Fuse (9) .

Remove the cover from the fuse panel. See Illustration 12.

Install the 113-8491 Fuse (9) in the position that is indicated in Illustration 13.
Reinstall the cover to the fuse panel.
Test the power source.
Turn the engine start switch to the ON position.
Push the bottom of rocker switch (8) in order to energize the auxiliary electrical control circuit.
Measure the voltage at the receptacle for harness (2). The voltage should be 12 VDC.Note: If no voltage is measured, check the fuse, the rocker switch, and the harness connections.
Ensure that the polarity of the voltage is correct.Note: Failure to observe the correct polarity of the voltage between the host machine and the snowblower will result in a blown fuse and/or damage to the electrical components. See Table 2.

Push the top of rocker switch (8) in order to de-energize the auxiliary electrical control circuit.

Connect the control device by inserting the connector plug for the control device into the receptacle for harness (2). See Illustration 14.
Push the bottom of rocker switch (8) in order to energize the auxiliary electrical control circuit.
