Machine location of transmission magnetic screen assembly.
Drain the transmission oil before you service the transmission magnetic screen. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Transmission Oil - Change" for the procedure to drain the transmission oil.This machine has one transmission magnetic screen which is located in the transmission magnetic screen housing. The transmission magnetic screen housing is located on the right-hand side of the transmission. Service the transmission magnetic screen when required to do so.
Park the machine on level ground. Lower the implement to the ground and apply slight downward pressure. Engage the parking brake and stop the engine.

Transmission magnetic screen assembly components.
(1) Cover retaining bolts and washers
(2) Cover assembly
(3) O-ring seal
(4) Screen assembly
(5) Magnet tube assembly
(6) Transmission magnetic screen housing
(7) Magnet
(8) Magnet tube
Remove cover retaining bolts and washers (1). Remove cover assembly (2) and O-ring seal (3).
Remove screen assembly (4) and magnet tube assembly (5).
Wash the screen assembly and the magnet tube assembly in a clean, nonflammable solvent. Magnets (7) can be removed from magnet tube (8) in order to make cleaning easier.
Install any magnets that were removed from the magnet tube for cleaning.
Install magnet tube assembly (5) and screen assembly (4).
Clean cover assembly (2) and O-ring seal (3). Inspect the O-ring seal for damage. Replace the O-ring seal, if necessary.
Install O-ring seal (3) and cover assembly (2). Install and properly tighten cover retaining bolts and washers (1).
