- - - As required, during regular undercarriage service add shims to sides and bottom to obtain the specified gap (B) and gap (C) in four places. If only one shim is used for adjustment, place the shim behind the wear strip on the inner leg of the track-roller frame.
Gap (B) is 3.0 1.0 mm (0.12 0.04 inch).

8 2 6S-3285 Duo-Cone Seal Gp The rubber toric seals and all the contacting surfaces must be clean and dry at assembly. Before assembly, apply a thin layer of oil to the contacting surfaces of the metal seal rings. The seal rings must be assembled square. The rubber toric seal should not bulge and the rubber toric seal should not twist. Refer to Special Instruction, SEHS8364, "Assembly and Installation of Conventional Duo-Cone Seals".
9 2 254-0634 Idler Bearing Before assembly, apply Loctite C5A Copper Anti-Seize on the bearing surfaces.
10 2 1H-9696 O-Ring Seal Lubricate the bore and sealing lip lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
11 2 6S-7715 Thrust Washer Install the thrust washer with the groove facing the idler.
12 2 236-4313 Bearing Bore after assembly is 50.825 0.080 mm (2.0010 0.0032 inch).
Installation depth is 0.8 0.5 mm (0.03 0.02 inch).
