The ripper was removed for photographic reasons.
Put a piece of plywood or similar material over the rear glass of the cab in order to protect the glass.
Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to position the transmission. The weight of the transmission and bevel gears is approximately 860 kg (1900 lb). Install bolts (16) and bolts (15) .

Connect tube assembly (12) and harness assembly (11) .

Install plate (10) , guard (9) , and bolts (8) .
Position ripper manifold (7) and install bolts (6) .

Install ripper hose assemblies (4) to ripper control valve (5) .

Install the left ripper lift pin. Install plates (3) and bolts (2) .Note: Remove the support from the left ripper lift cylinder.
Install the oil drain plug into the transmission case.
Fill the transmission and bevel gear case with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities".

Install guard (1) to rear of machine.
Slide the sliding carrier onto the bevel gear shaft, if equipped. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Final Drive, Steering Differential, and Brake (Left Side) - Install".End By:
Install the axles. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Axles - Remove and Install".
Install the main drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Main Drive Shaft - Remove and Install".
