Description of Change: Improved track rollers are used on the 5130B and 5230 Excavators. The improved track rollers have bronze bearings that are reinforced with steel. The shaft of the improved track rollers have a larger diameter. A new seal gives the improved track roller better response in cold weather: -35 °C (-31 °F). These changes give the track roller better retention of oil than the former track rollers. The track rollers are filled at the factory with SAE 50W oil. This will reduce the tendency for the track roller to overheat.Adaptable To: The new 155-4102 Track Rollers are direct replacements for the former 6I-7228 Single Flange Track Rollers. The new 155-4102 Track Rollers are effective with 5130B (PIN: 4CS160) Excavators. The new 155-4102 Track Rollers are adaptable to all earlier 5130B (PIN: 4CS) Excavators and 5130 (PIN: 5ZL; 7TJ) Excavators.The new 155-4107 Track Rollers are direct replacements for the former 142-4411 Track Rollers. The new 155-4107 Track Rollers are effective with 5230 (PIN: 7LL104) Excavators. The new 155-4107 Track Rollers are adaptable to all earlier 5230 (PIN: 7LL) Excavators.Note: The following components of the former track roller are not interchangeable with the components of the new track roller: the roller shell, the roller shaft, the roller bushing assemblies and the end collars.Note: Use the existing Custom Track Service wear charts for the new track rollers.
