Remove the water pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Water Pump - Remove".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove O-ring seal (10) from housing (1) .
Use Tooling (A) to remove impeller (4) from shaft (6) .
Remove bolts (3) from housing (1). Remove retainer (5) and water pump shaft (6) from the housing.
Use Tooling (C) and remove gear (2) from water pump shaft (6) .
Use a press and Tooling (B) to remove bearing assembly (8) from water pump shaft (6) .
Invert the housing and drive or press seal group (7) out of the housing.
Invert the housing and drive or press lip seal (9) out of the housing.
