Do not allow dirt to enter the fuel system. Thoroughly clean the area around a fuel system component that will be disconnected. Fit a suitable cover over disconnected fuel system component.

Turn off the main gas valve.
De-energize the Gas Shutoff Valve (GSOV).
Slowly remove gas pressure sensor (7) from gas line (8). Note: The port for plug (10) on the G3616 models can be used instead of the port for gas pressure sensor (7).
Install a fitting into gas line (8). Connect the 1U-5470 Engine Pressure Gp to the fitting. Refer to Illustration 1. Test Procedure - Fuel Pressure to Fuel Metering Valve
Do not allow dirt to enter the fuel system. Thoroughly clean the area around a fuel system component that will be disconnected. Fit a suitable cover over disconnected fuel system component.
Open the main gas valve.
Energize the GSOV.
Check the engine gas pressure to the engine. If, the pressure is not 448 34 kPa (65 5 psi) refer to Adjustment Procedure - Fuel Pressure to Fuel Metering Valve. Adjustment Procedure - Fuel Pressure to Fuel Metering Valve

Remove cover (12), and install the correct tools, from the 8T-5160 Gas Regulator Setting Tool, for pressure setting adjustment.
Adjust bolt (11) to achieve desired fuel pressure to the fuel metering valve.
After desired pressure is reached, install cap (12).
