Hydraulic Oil Temperature Sensor (1) Schematic (2) SensorHydraulic oil temperature (2) reacts to the temperature of the hydraulic oil. The sensor receives operating power from the VIDS ECM. The sensor sends the VIDS ECM a PWM signal which changes as the temperature of the fluid changes. The VIDS measures the duty cycle of the sensor signal in order to determine the temperature of the hydraulic oil.Overload Pressure Sensor

Overload Pressure Sensor (Boom Cylinder Pressure) (1) Schematic (2) SensorOverload pressure sensor (2) reacts to hydraulic pressure in the boom cylinder. The sensor receives power from the machine electrical system. The sensor sends the VIDS ECM a PWM signal which changes as the hydraulic pressure changes. The VIDS measures the duty cycle of the sensor signal in order to determine the pressure of the boom cylinder. The VIDS will initiate a warning category 3 alarm if the enable switch for the overload warning alarm is ON (OPEN) and display the following message on the message center:
