Start By:
Remove the precleaner. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Precleaner - Remove and Install" in this module.
Remove the muffler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Muffler - Remove and Install" in this module.

Open enclosure door (1) .

Remove the eight bolts, two hinges (2), and enclosure door (1). Repeat this step on the other side.

Remove two bolts (3) and the washers. Remove plate (4). Repeat this step on the other side.

Remove three bolts (5), the washers, and bracket (6) from each side of the hood.

Remove bolt (7) and the two washers from the hood.

Note: The hood weighs 42 kg (93 lb).
Use tool (A) and a suitable lifting device to remove hood (8) .Installation Procedure

Use a suitable lifting device and tool (A) to install hood (8) .

Install the two washers and bolt (7) on the hood.

Install bracket (6), the washers, and three bolts (5) on each side of the hood.

Install plate (4). Install the washers and two bolts (3). Repeat this step on the other side.

Install enclosure door (1). Install two hinges (2) and the eight bolts. Repeat this step on the other side.
